We regret to inform you that we will not be hosting the Hobby Horse competition on
September 27th in Carver, MA due to low registration. An event like this needs competitors, and there are just not enough to make it worth while to those that are traveling to participate.

Join Sandwich artist, Stephanie King of Seaside Botanical Art for a beginner workshop on the art of seaweed pressing. Learn about pressing techniques, tools, preservation, and how to make a reusable, travel-sized press from upcycled materials. Participants will create 2 pressings from drift seaweed that can be used for scrapbooking, card making, or framed once the drying process is complete. Collecting washed ashore seaweed offers an eco-friendly, relaxing way to enjoy nature and preserve seaside memories.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: Seaside Botanical Art does not issue refunds for cancellations or no shows unless the workshop is cancelled by the organizer. In this case, SBA will notify you within one week of the workshop date and offer the option for refund or the option to transfer your registration to another workshop date in 2026.

Big Nick's Ride for the fallen
Join us on our front lawn to show your support for all those that ride. Park in our lot, set up your chairs and get ready! We will be grilling up hot dogs, with chips and waters starting at 10AM. The riders usually hit Scenic Roots about 10:30. The grill will continue after the ride until noon.
Each year Big Nick's Ride for the Fallen memorializes USMC Cpl. Nicholas G. Xiarhos and honors all of our recent fallen heroes with ties to Cape Cod as well as all Veterans past, present, and future who serve our great country. Nick is one of 16 "Fallen American Warriors" from Cape Cod who made the ultimate sacrifice in America's longest war. Big Nick's Ride for the Fallen will celebrate its 16th anniversary this year.

All Things Holiday Market
Join in the festivities of All Things Holiday Market. Start your holiday shopping with us! Our greenhouses will be full of cheer and offer many opportunities for you to get ahead of the holiday hustle and bustle. Local artisans will be set up in one magically lit greenhouse.
Friday night, our fireside “sample” bar will be open with hot apple cider, seasonal cocktails provided by Wolfe Craft Rims, along with charcuterie cups highlighting our farmstand.

Fall Rope Wreath
Heidi from By Land Oar by Sea will be hosting a fall rope wreath workshop at Scenic Roots.
Learn how to braid a beautiful jute rope wreath and decorate it for the fall season or anytime of the year. Jute rope is mounted on a sturdy wooden frame included with a hanger for mounting. Embellish the wreath with fall leaves and a bow. Or choose from a variety of neutral color bows and embellishments. The wreath is 12" in diameter. $65.00
